Academy award winning actor Gary Oldman has announced he'll appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories for BBC's Children in Need.

The Slow Horses star commented 'Stories have a unique way of inspiring imagination and hope in young minds. Hope for young people seems particularly in short supply these days.
